Compatibility
CANISTER 135 fits one standard 35mm / 135 still photography cartridge from common film manufacturers, fresh or exposed. It is not for 120 film, 110 film, APS film, sheet film, loose negative strips, sleeved negatives, or multiple rolls.
An empty standard 35mm cartridge may also be kept as a memento. Developed negatives need separate storage in suitable sleeves or enclosures.
CANISTER 120, a companion object for medium-format 120 film, is coming soon. It is not yet for sale.
Protection and limits
The gasketed closure helps resist dust and incidental moisture during normal shelf, desk, and bag use. CANISTER 135 is water resistant, not waterproof. It is not for submersion, not airtight, not climate-controlled, and not X-ray or CT scanner proof.
