WHY THIS EXISTS / 04
BEAUTIFUL CAMERAS. DISPOSABLE CANISTERS.
Beautiful metal cameras were sitting on a shelf. Disposable plastic film canisters were sitting beside them. The mismatch felt wrong. CANISTER 135 is the object that should have been sitting beside the camera all along.
Storage first. Display always. Carry when needed.

It belongs where the cameras are.
ON A SHELF.
ON A DESK.
BESIDE THE CAMERA.
Near the scanner. Inside the bag. Kept visible when the work is done.

FAQ / 10
COMMON QUESTIONS
IS THIS NECESSARY?
No. The free plastic canister works. CANISTER 135 exists because the object around the roll can be as considered as the camera, lens, and print.
IS IT WATERPROOF?
Gasketed closure helps resist dust and incidental moisture. Not for submersion.
IS IT FOR TRAVEL?
It can ride in a bag, but it is not a travel-safe film vault. It does not protect against airport X-ray or CT scanners, heat, or humidity.
IS IT ARCHIVAL?
It is made to keep one cartridge separated, visible, and protected from ordinary shelf or bag abuse. It is not a climate-controlled or conservation-rated storage container.
WHY DOES IT COST $98?
Because it is not molded plastic. It is machined from 304 stainless steel in small quantities, polished, weighted, threaded, and fitted with a silicone gasket.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Film photographers, collectors, labs, and anyone who wants the objects around the analogue process to be as considered as the images they make.
WHO IS THIS NOT FOR?
Anyone who wants the lightest, cheapest, or most technical storage solution. Plastic works. This is for people who want to keep the object in sight.
